(WINNIPEG – June 17, 2026) The Canadian Council of Parliamentary Ombudsman met in Manitoba for its annual meeting on June 16 and 17. The meeting brings 11 parliamentary ombuds from across Canada together to discuss timely topics and issues across jurisdictions. The ombuds share and discuss strategies and best practices in complaint handling and promoting fairness standards in provincial public sectors, as well as opportunities for collaborative learning and information sharing that can occur throughout the year.
